Since we don't sell peonies anymore it's easy to forget that there are 'big maroon flowers' [they're actually more magenta!] in the middle of Wildwood Nursery.
Peonies reward patient gardeners with massive blooms. Sleep [year one] creep [year two] leap [year three, flowers!] as the saying goes.
