In parts of Belvedere, CA, the only way to reach certain branches is from the beach. At low tide, strategically placed rocks provide a solid footing for the orchard ladder. As soon as the water started lapping at the ladder's legs it was time to hightail it back up to the deck.
The tree wants to lean over the water [wind and sun] so it was important to trim from every angle!
