Gardening For The Environment

Saturday was field trip day. The destination was a garden oasis in the middle of San Francisco's Inner Sunset District.

A few blocks from the SF Botanic Garden, Garden for the Environment is an urban gardening hub.  With a landscape that has a heavy [trees weighed down with fruit] focus on edibles and lots of flowers for pollinators, the staff demonstrates how to maximize space in small settings.
